Use Foam Products to Help You Exercise
In this day in age, between family lives and the workweek stretching far beyond 40 hours for many people, it’s easy for some things to not get the attention they deserve. Unfortunately, health often takes a backseat. Staying late to finish a project at work, taking the kids to practice, and cooking dinner all cuts into the time we have for ourselves, provided we even have any energy left to spend. For people who find it difficult to carve out time to get to the gym, home exercising is an excellent substitute. And one of the best ways to augment your at-home routine is with foam exercise equipment.
The most basic exercises require only basic equipment, which is the floor mat. Pad foam softens hard floor surfaces but still maintains the stability necessary to maintain the balance needed in yoga, stretches, and other cardio activities. These mats can be found in varieties as thick or as thin as desired, in soft varieties for people who only require a comfort improvement, to very firm exercise mats for those placing an emphasis on stability.
Another smart product for exercise is body wedges. These can come in many different varieties, great for adding to or reducing body angles. Wedges can be placed under the back, shoulders, or legs, and can offer support or softness. Large foam rolls and smaller poly roll foam bolsters are available in soft materials for targeting areas with a small cushion, or very firm materials for support and stretching. The firmest foam rollers are also used in self-massage, showing the versatility these exercise products possess.
