(Reuters) – An online dating site for adults seeking sexual trysts has been hacked, potentially compromising the personal information of some of its 64 million members, the company said on Friday. AdultFriendFinder.com, part of Sunnyvale, California-based FriendFinder Networks Inc, said it had contacted law enforcement, including the FBI, and a private investigative team to review the incident.

Indian PM Modi defends ban on Delhi gang rape documentary

The film “India’s Daughter” – which features an interview with one of the men who raped and tortured a 23-year-old woman on a bus in December 2012 – was banned in March as his comments were considered to be derogatory towards women.

China blames hacking attack for recent Internet problems

A hacking attack using malware from overseas servers was to blame for Internet problems in China earlier this week that prevented users accessing a number of popular foreign websites, an official state-run newspaper said on Friday. The English-language China Daily, citing the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team Coordination Centre, an agency that monitors China's Internet safety, said the redirection happened because some servers in China were “contaminated” by malware from overseas servers.

Denver teacher’s third grade assignment goes viral online

By Keith Coffman DENVER (Reuters) – A Colorado teacher who posted notes from her third grade class online and started a social media whirlwind under the hashtag #IWishMyTeacherKnew said on Friday the assignment had been a revelation for her. Kyle Schwartz, 26, asked the eight- and nine-year-olds at her Denver inner city school to write down something they wished she knew about them, partly as a writing exercise, and partly as a way for her to learn about her pupils.
