Amazon insists federal rules apply to U.S. deliveries by drone

Internet privacy bill gets initial approval in Russian assembly

Russian parliament gave initial approval on Tuesday to a law that would require Internet search sites to remove outdated or irrelevant personal information from search results on request from users. The bill, passed by the State Duma lower house in its first reading, seeks to emulate European Union rules on the “right to be forgotten”, under which search engines must take down certain results that appear under a search of a person’s name

Armed man shot trying to get into Arkansas air base: authorities

The incident sent the base into lockdown for nearly three hours while authorities examined the car driven by the man. Authorities said he carried a rifle. “I do not know if the suspect fired rounds out of his weapon, but I do know that he was brandishing a weapon at the time he exited his vehicle,” said Colonel Charles Brown the commander of the 19th Airlift Wing at the base.

Alwaleed backs Twitter interim CEO Dorsey, says brings continuity

Saudi Arabia's Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, one of Twitter's earlier investors, told Reuters he believed Jack Dorsey would bring continuity to the social messaging firm and he would back him if he wished to become chief executive permanently. Dorsey, a co-founder of Twitter, was named interim head last Thursday after Chief Executive Dick Costolo abruptly announced he was stepping down effective July 1. Oculus debuts consumer version of VR headset, partners with Xbox
